Ourika Day Trip
The Atlas Mountains are about 1 hour from Marrakech, today’s excursion will be to the beautiful High Atlas villages of Ourika and Setti Fatma nestled on the main road in Ait Ourir.During the road you will stop in the main points for pictures,breaks and to enjoy the natural views.Arrive the last point of the valley where the waterfalls of Setti Fatma and take a trekking time to visit the waterfalls source of Ourika valley, running streams and a taste of Berber village life. You will explore the work of the artisans manufacturing handicrafts found in Marrakech souks such as coloured glass and metal tin lanterns, hand painted woodwork and furniture. You will have the chance too to explore a trail used only by Berbers going to and from market with their donkeys. Lunch in a local restaurant beside of the valley where you can enjoy the landscapes of the Atlas mountains. Late afternoon, we will be back to Marrakech.
Tour to the great Atlas ,AitBenhaddou and Ouarzazate (One day)
We departure in the morning to Ouarzazate “the place where noise is not understood”. We will go through the Tiz-in-Tichka (2260m), one of the highest points in the septentrional Africa. You’ll discover an important region characterized by the beauty of its diverse landscape, then you will visit the Glaoui Palace “Talouet Kasbah” and then the World Heritage: the AitBenhaddou Kasbah, a town full of symbolic castles where many movies like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia were filmed. Then we can visit the Taourirt and Tifoultoutekasbahs, residences of Glaoui (Old Pacha Marrakech). After lunch we will go back to Marrakech.
Essaouira Tour (One day)
Morning departure to Essaouira which is three hours away. Essaouira or the old Mogador is a city that reminds us of the time when Spain, Portugal and England fought to control costs. It has a typically Portuguese harbor with beautiful examples of Moorish and Portuguese art (where you can enjoy a fresh seafood lunch). Essaouira is known for its medina, which is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is also known for its artists who work with Tuya (a tree that produces really good wood) , the souk of money. In the afternoon , on our way back to Marrakech, you can make a stop at the Argan oil cooperative, worldwide known and widely used in cosmetics.
Trip to Marrakesh through Asni and the Imlil Valley (One day)
Morning departure to the great Atlas. We get to the foot of Toubkal, the highest mountain in Morocco and North Africa (over 4500 meters), then we arrive at the small town of Tahanaout that twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday) plans a meeting for all the farmers in the region in because of the great souk. After visiting the WadiGhaghia Gorges, we will get to Asni: the country of the amethyst (macro crystalline) and the Green Valley of Ourigane also called The Valley of Happiness.
During the morning we will start visiting the Medina of Marrakech with a local guide as well as interesting places such as the saadienas tombs, the museum of Marrakech, the Medersa, the Bahia palaces, the Badia and the Majoreles gardens. In the afternoon we will visit the “Djemaa el Fna” square. This time in the afternoon is a great time to do so since the square is filled with jugglers, narrators, dancers, snake charmers, among many other colorful characters in addition to their famous juice sellers. Later in the afternoon they begin to set up small lighted food places outdoor, it’s the perfect time to try the most typical and traditional food.
Ouzoud Waterfalls tour (One day)
Early departure towards OUZOUD waterfalls, located 160 km from Marrakech. You will enjoy a day on the beautiful waterfalls, where you can find water slopes of up to 60 meters high.
